We had Jason inspect our roof that was only 12 months old when it leaked. Jason's report was professional and matter-of-fact, which I think made it very effective. Outcome is that the original bad job by the roofing company was completely redone properly under the warranty. The fee for the independent inspection was reasonable and very well worth it..

Great Inspection, very detailed and thorough, David climbed the roof and used a drone. Report is very well illustrated with pictures and easy to read. Great communication and very professional interaction onsite. Took over 3 hours to inspect all the premises. Quick to schedule. 10 out of 10 !!!

Our small two unit HOA needed an insurance inspection to find a suitable carrier. After researching several San Francisco local companies, all the owners decided GGHI was the best suited for our needs. The service from our inspector, Jason, was amazing, friendly, very thorough and was right on time. The communication was clear, and very much appreciated. We have two freestanding two story buildings approximately 1800sq ft each, and the entire inspection took less than two hours. Our report was provided within 24 hours of the inspection and was extremely easy to read, download and share with the insurance agent and other owners. There was an even a complimentary fifteen minute follow up call offered if we had any questions or had concerns regarding the report. I would definitely recommend this company if you’re in the market for a home inspection of any kind!

10 out of 10 very knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. Inspected the house from foundation to the roof. Got up on the roof— but had a drone for backup in case it was not accessible. Flexible with the schedule. Report was detailed and easy to read with relevant photos. I will definitely be using them again. I was wildly anxious about the various cracks in the walls and leaks we had— the inspector helped me differentiate between normal cracks and issues caused by leaks. He was able to track the source of the leaks and recommend a solid course of action to fix the problems. I wish we had used him earlier before we bought our little money pit.

I am grateful to have come across Golden Gate Inspections. They have high ratings in Google and I wanted to provide the best for my client and sure enough when I gave them a call, the guy I spoke to who arranged our schedule, Phil was wonderful and very helpful, they were able to give me get a schedule the next day which is exactly what I needed for a seven day deadline. And today was the inspection and a guy I spoke with on the phone named Chris was also very helpful and prompt with my request. He then led me to Veronica, which is the inspector, and when she came to the property, she was very prompt and detailed when we went over the walk-through. They told me it would take one to two business days for me to get the report and it hasn’t even been five hours and they were already telling me the Report is ready. So the Google reviews are very well justified by their actions and I am grateful. Willdefinitely reach out to them again ever time I am in need of an inspector. I am a realtor, and this will be a lifelong relationship. And that is very important for our business to serve our clients as best as we can. If you are looking for good service Inspection don’t think twice! Give Golden Gate Inspections a call and they will take great care of you even over the phone. Jake from Golden Gate Home Inspections met my sister and I at my Mom's house in Redwood City last Monday, October 9. After exchanging greetings he went to work thoroughly inspecting the nooks and crannies both inside and outside of the house. While there were a few things that we know needed repair and/or modernization Jake alerted us to the fact that we needed an electrical upgrade to bring it up to the current code which was something we hadn't really thought of. On Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 10 we received a detailed house report complete with many pictures.My sister and I as well as my brother who lives in Oregon were quite pleased with Jake's work and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him!

In the end the issues found were categorized by severity, and placed into sections. Being in-person allowed me to help with access, and ask questions, which they were gracious enough to answer. They used a drone to inspect the roof. I would have liked thermal imaging to look for water and electrical issues, but I don't have any concerns about this and didn't ask.

As a REALTOR®, Golden Gate Home Inspection was not my first choice. I have a current relationship with another inspection company. Really impressed. I figured since they were a chain that they would have someone unknowledgeable come out, but because they were so well-reviewed, I gave them a chance (realtor recommended them for our inspection contingency). Not only did the inspector do a really good job, but their reporting style is phenomenal. This company is reliable, thorough, and responsive! I was home during the inspection and the inspector was very professional. The inspector from Golden Gate was really great. I was nervous to find out what was going on with my house, but I’m finally glad I did. I had a feeling the house had shifted due to some recent small earthquakes and the heavy rain this winter season. The inspector, David, was very easy to meet and talk with about the issues he found with my house's foundation. He was straightforward and didn't try to sell me extra services, so he gained my trust. I feel confident about the repairs needed. The inspection wasn’t the cheapest one I found, but they put me at ease with their reliable communication before we met and followed through with a thorough report after we'd met, so it was money well spent. I’d recommend this company to my friends.

We needed a quick turnaround on our home inspection due to a 7 day contingency and they were able to get us scheduled and then turned around a detailed report quickly. And we loved that they used a drone and the thermal imaging thingy. It kind of saw things we would have never noticed. They made us feel so much more comfortable with making our purchase. On top of that DJ was so knowledgeable that we learned a lot. Definitely recommend!
